Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.

Amen.




Doamne, Dumnezeule, fă din mine unealta păcii tale,
Să aduc iubire acolo unde este ură,
Să iert unde este jignire,
Să aduc împăcare unde este ceartă.
Să spun adevărul unde domneşte eroarea,
Să aduc speranţă celor deznădăjduiţi,
Şi bucurie să aduc unde este tristeţe.
O, Doamne, ajută-mă
Nu ca să fiu mîngîiat, ci ca să pot mîngîia pe ceilalţi,
Nu ca să fiu înţeles, ci ca să-i înţeleg pe alţii,
Nu ca să fiu iubit, ci ca să iubesc.
Căci cine dă, primeşte,
Cine uită de sine însuşi se împlineşte,
Cine iartă va fi iertat,
Iar cine moare, acela va fi înviat spre viaţa veşnică.
